Rakesh Kumar is a 30-year-old Indian defender from Kerala, India. He is known for his solid positioning on the field and his powerful clearances. As a hometown boy, Rakesh is a regular in Bengaluru's city centre, often seen in some of the city's most famous nightclubs, such as NoLimmits Lounge and The Sugar Factory. Despite his love of the city's nightlife, Rakesh is a fan favourite and one of the most beloved players on the team. He is known for acting as the conductor for the crowd during their chants during home games and for spending long periods after games signing autographs for fans. This often holds up the team bus, much to the annoyance of his teammates, but Rakesh's good-natured personality means they don’t stay mad at him for long.
