James Keegan is a 27-year-old goalkeeper from Bantry, Cork in Ireland. He is widely regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the league, with his acrobatic saves often winning his side points - he was named as the Goalkeeper in the One Future Football Team of the Season. Keegan is a popular figure among fans who admire his exceptional reflexes and clutch saves. At the age of 18, Keegan moved to Sydney with his family when his father took a job in the construction industry. Now eight years later, he has settled into life in Australia and considers it to be his home away from home. He is an avid rugby fan and makes an effort to attend as many games as possible. He supports New South Wales Waratahs and Munster and former Munster captain Paul O’Connell is someone he looks up to. Keegan is hopeful that either Ireland or Australia will win the next Rugby World Cup. Keegan is a proud Irishman and will always have a special place in his heart for his homeland, but he has fully embraced life in Australia and is grateful for the opportunities it has provided him.
