Menzi Mkhize is a 26-year-old left back from Bluff in Durban, South Africa. Although he’s not the tallest player at 1.79m, he's known for his exceptional spring and is often seen scoring goals with his head. Mkhize has adapted well to life in Sydney and on his days off, he enjoys exploring the city and discovering new places to hike. He's always been an avid hiker and enjoys the peace and serenity that comes with being surrounded by nature, especially in the Blue Mountains. Mkhize likes to start his day with a walk from his home in Clovelly to Two Forks Cafe in Bondi, his regular coffee spot. Menzi spends a lot of time in Dover Heights where a lot of ex-pat South Africans live, very conscious to keep a connection with home alive. He has a good relationship with James Keegan, who shares his love of rugby union.
