Edgar Castro is a 24-year-old goalkeeper from Ecuador. Born and raised in Pifo, Quito he is only third choice at Club Sportivo Palermo. However, he is well-respected for his dedication and resilience. Castro has never missed a training session due to injury and is known for his unrelenting work ethic. He was signed by Club Sportivo Palermo after a chance encounter with the club's scouts while playing for a local Quito side. Outside of football, Castro is an avid collector of vintage comic books and has a large collection of rare editions. He enjoys living in Buenos Aires for its vibrant cultural scene and the diverse array of restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world.
