Wilmar Chávez is a 26-year-old Colombian winger who plays for Club Sportivo Palermo. Born in Soacha, Bogotá, he is known for his ability to score from set pieces despite his small stature. Growing up playing football with six older brothers has helped him to develop his aerial prowess. Despite his talent, Chávez has caused some controversy for his partying ways, disappearing for a few days to party in Mexico City. Despite this, he remains a fan favourite and is loved by his teammates for his good nature. His antics even resulted in the team captain, Albano Álvarez, travelling to Mexico City to bring him back to training. Rumour has it that he scored three goals, all with his head, during an in-house match the day after he returned from partying.
