Ignacio Macías, the 25-year-old centre-half, hails from Las Juntas, Guadalajara in Mexico. He's a solid defender, renowned for his no-nonsense approach, physicality, and strength. Since joining Angelenos, Macías has worked tirelessly with a personal trainer and has transformed his fitness levels, becoming one of the strongest player on the team. He's always dreamed of playing in the USA, and signing with Angelenos has been the highlight of his career so far. Outside of football, Macías is a big fan of techno music. He loves to attend techno parties in popular nightclubs like Exchange LA, Avalon Hollywood, and Sound Nightclub. He's also a fan of local DJs like John Tejada, Acid Mondays, and Deep Jesus. Ignacio is always looking for the next big techno festival, such as Desert Hearts or Lightning in a Bottle. He's passionate about discovering new techno tracks and artists, and he spends hours each day exploring SoundCloud and other music platforms. He tries to take over the dressing room speaker every day.
