Max Chen is a 28-year-old right back from Brisbane, San Francisco. He's highly athletic and known for his incredible jumping ability, which he uses to great effect in both attack and defence. He spring comes from years as a junior gymnast in San Francisco. He also has excellent interception instincts and is excellent in possession. Chen’s parents are Chinese immigrants who came to the United States in the 1980s seeking better opportunities. They faced many challenges and worked hard to establish themselves in their new home. Chen grew up hearing stories of their struggles and admires their perseverance and determination. Chen takes pride in his Chinese heritage and enjoys learning about Chinese culture and traditions. He often highlights the recent surge in anti-Asian attitudes and hate crimes in America which disgusts him.
