Santiago Acevedo is a 22-year-old centre-half from Yumbo, Cali in Colombia. Blessed with electric speed and tight marking, not many attackers are able to get the better of him. His exceptional skills on the pitch did not go unnoticed as he was signed by Angelenos on a recommendation by fellow Colombian Alex León, who had spotted the youngster in Colombia. Santiago is adapting well to life in LA and he is currently undergoing an extensive English course to improve his language skills. He's become a big fan of the NFL and is particularly passionate about the Kansas City Chiefs, his favourite player is Patrick Mahomes whom he hopes to meet one day. He also gets to USC and UCLA college football games when he gets a chance and sometimes ends up partying with the students after the game.
