His coaches have urged him to improve his attitude and work ethic if he wants to have a chance of making it in professional football. He has a big interest in geopolitics. He spends hours reading news articles and analysing the complex relationships between countries. His interest in geopolitics started during the Gulf Crisis of 2017, which saw several countries cut ties with Qatar. Since then, he has become an expert on Middle Eastern politics, particularly in the Gulf region. If football doesn’t work out, Ahmed's dream is to work for the Qatari government's foreign affairs department.
