Rashid Al Balushi is a 21-year-old striker from Oman who takes great pride in his Muslim faith. He was awarded One Future Football’s Young Player of the Season for Season One, a season in which he scored 9 goals. Born in Ruwi, Muscat, to wealthy parents, he has recently joined Riyadh Stars FC and is thrilled to have found a professional team close to his home country. Al Balushi is known for his acceleration and aerial prowess, which has made him an invaluable member of the team's attacking unit. He’s completely obsessed with becoming the perfect striker and has high standards for himself and everyone around him. He has a particular interest in sprinting and follows the careers of professional sprinters like Usain Bolt and Carl Lewis, studying their training methods and analyzing their techniques. He also looks up to renowned coaches like Charlie Francis and Tom Tellez, who have coached some of the greatest sprinters of all time. While Al Balushi enjoys life in Riyadh, he finds the city's relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals.
