Adam Osyra, 26, hails from the suburb of Ochota in Warsaw, Poland. As a central midfielder for Riyadh Stars FC, he's considered a solid squad player, known for his ability to play long, accurate passes that switch the direction of play. As a kid, he’d mimic David Beckham and Steven Gerrard who were both masters of the cross field pass. Off the pitch, he's gained headlines for his opposition to the war in Ukraine and Russia's involvement. He's been vocal about his support for taking in Ukrainian refugees who have fled the conflict. He’s a very proud Pole and he spends a lot of his time reading books and articles about significant events and figures in Polish history, such as the Battle of Warsaw, the reign of King Jan III Sobieski, and the Solidarity movement.
