Cormac Connolly is a 30-year-old Irish striker who hails from Cappataggle, a village in County Galway Ireland. He was an outstanding underage hurler and could have gone to play for his county, but he chose football when an opportunity to move the UK was offered to him. He’s deceptively strong despite only being 1.71m and he is an excellent finisher who would be pushing to start for most teams in the competition. He’s also very cool from the penalty spot. Although he's the second choice behind José Alcántar, he is a dependable backup who often plays alongside the team captain. Off the field, his main passion is Irish music. He first picked up the accordion as a child and is now a brilliant player. He plays a lot in Woodlawn in the Bronx as well as in different pubs in Manhattan like Molly’s, The Dead Rabbit, and the Long Hall.
