Rodrigo Ortiz is a 28-year-old goalkeeper from the town of Mendoza, Argentina. He grew up in the San Martín area of the town. Despite being the second-choice goalkeeper in Paris St-Denis, Ortiz is known for his remarkable diving saves, and his athleticism in the box. He's a keen reader, and crime novels are his favourite genre. His favourite crime writers are Jo Nesbø and Michael Connelly. Ortiz has even started a book club at the club, with Stanley van Ooijen being the only player to join so far. Several backroom staff members have also joined the club, which meets once a month. It's well known among his teammates that Ortiz is not a fan of the Harry Potter series, preferring darker and grittier crime fiction. He has settled well in Paris and likes exploring new areas of the city when he has a chance.
