Romeo Menzo is a Surinamese midfielder who grew up in Tammenga in the city of Paramaribo. Despite being seen by many as a squad player, he has made a name for himself as the team's go-to free-kick taker, thanks to his impeccable accuracy and technique. Off the pitch, Menzo is a passionate car enthusiast who spends a lot of time restoring old cars. He’s travelled to the USA a few times to see NASCAR in the flesh. Recently, he has also developed an interest in electric cars and is a big fan of Tesla, which he has been impressed by. When he's not playing football or tinkering with his cars, Menzo likes to explore the vibrant nightlife of the cities he visits for games, often visiting clubs and bars with any teammates he can drag along.
