1. Who do you play for?
My name is Deji Akande, a right winger for Naija United Football Club.

2. Where is your hometown?
I was born in AJ City, but now I live in Lekki, Lagos.

3. What is your best footballing attribute?
I’m confident that I have great flair and dribbling. It’s all about speed and skills. I want to entertain.

4. Who was your football hero growing up?
I loved the greats like Lionel Messi, Cristiano, and Ronaldinho, but Eden Hazard’s dribbling. That man was fire.

5. What is your favourite place to hang out in?
I go back to Boundary Market a lot, kicking a ball around with my friends on the local pitches.

6. Who is your favourite musician?
Whizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Ckay. They are very inspiring. I would love to one day release some music too.

7. What is your favourite TV show?
Big Brother NG is my favourite show. I never miss it when it’s on.

8. What is your favourite food?
Definitely the egusi soup made by my momma. I also love moin moin and Jollof most of the time.

9. What is your favourite moment of the season so far?
The season hasn’t been what we expected to be honest, but if I had to pick one it would be the first win in Lagos. We beat Angelenos 3-0.
