Brasil Amazônia's Italian striker Andrea Olivieri has taken the 20-year-old Portuguese midfielder Ruben Santos under his wing in the early weeks of the season.

The players recently joined the Brazilian club for the kick-off of One Future Football and struck up a bond almost immediately since landing in Manaus.

It’s Santos’s first stint living away from his home in Porto in Portugal and Olivieiri has been showing him the ropes of professional football. The pair drive to training together, they’ve seen doing extra work in the gym and staying back late practicing their shooting.

Olivieri is expected to be one of Amazônia's main goal threats this season while Santos has been touted as one of the rising stars of the league.

Amazônia has made a decent start to the season with four points from their opening three games.
