Their former player Henry Babatunde came back to haunt them as he opened the scoring in the 8th minute and Florian Grava doubled the lead in the 14th. Anthony Chidi pulled one back just before half-time, but Naija could not get the equaliser. They are now rock bottom of the league and manager Julius Martins is looking over his shoulder in a big way. Will he be the first sacking in the history of One Future Football? A Bas Holsink brace was enough for Inter Nusantara to beat South London United 2-1 in Indonesia. It was the Dutch striker’s 8th and 9th goals of the campaign so far.

Riyadh Stars beat Club Sportivo Palermo 2-1 in a hugely entertaining game in Riyadh. The goals for the Saudi side, who are now sixth in the table, came courtesy of Bader Abdullah and Rashid Al Balushi. Al Balushi’s goal was a cracker. Ignacio Correa got the goal for Palermo who stay in third place.

Tokyo Youth Club won 2-0 against in-form FC Angelenos. The Shibuya Central Stadium was rocking as Tsubasa Tanaka and Raphael Hauffe sealed all three points.

The Bad Boy of New York, Luca Johnson, was the key man in **Manhattan FC’**s 2-0 win over Bengaluru Phoenix. Johnson and captain Jose Alcantar scored for The Empire in what was a routine win in the end.

Charlie Baker-Jones was the hero for Bondi in their cracking 3-2 win over Brasil Amazonia in Brazil. Amazonia’s Dani Viana and Bondi’s Ollie Harris Marsh traded goals in the first half, Patrick Zimmerman put the Brazilians ahead just after the break before Sasa Pintaric leveled in the 68th minute. Baker-Jones converted a penalty in the 86th minute to seal the win. The young Australian missed a pen in Round 11, so he showed a good mentality to put it away.

 
Rashid Al Balushi’s bullet for Riyadh Stars against Club Sportivo Palermo won the vote for Goal of the Week. The Omani striker lashed it in from distance.
